The following Terms of Service ("Terms") regulate your interaction with and utilization of LibraLM website, applications, APIs, and other offered services (collectively referred to as “LibraLM”, "LibraLM: AI Powered Insights", “we”, “us”, or the “Service”).
We encourage you to read these Terms carefully. By accessing or using LibraLM, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms, our [Privacy Policy], our [Subscription Policy], and any additional information provided via our mobile app “LibraLM: 15 Min Book Summaries” (”App”), website [libralm.com] (“Website”), encompassing all text, information, graphics, software, and our emails (collectively referred to as the “Content”). To make these Terms easier to read, the Website, App, the Content and our services are collectively called the “Services”.
LibraLM operates on a subscription model with automatic renewals. We aim to provide information regarding our [Subscription Policy] either at or near the point of purchase. It's important that you read these Terms, especially Section 7 “Payments and Refunds”, and [Subscription Policy] carefully before starting a free trial or completing a purchase for the App’s auto-renewing subscription services. To avoid any charges, you are required to proactively cancel your subscription or trial at least 24 hours before the end of the free trial or the current subscription period. If cancellation procedures are unclear, we advise that you visit [Apple Support] or [Google Play Help] (or other relevant app store support pages) depending on where you have purchased your subscription. Please note, deleting or uninstalling the App will not cancel your subscriptions or free trials; it's advisable to capture a screenshot of this information for your records.
IMPORTANT NOTICE REGARDING ARBITRATION FOR U.S. CUSTOMERS: WHEN YOU AGREE TO THESE TERMS YOU ARE AGREEING (WITH LIMITED EXCEPTION) TO RESOLVE ANY DISPUTE BETWEEN YOU AND LIBRALM THROUGH BINDING, INDIVIDUAL ARBITRATION RATHER THAN IN COURT. PLEASE REVIEW CAREFULLY SECTION 13 “MANDATORY BINDING ARBITRATION AND CLASS ACTION WAIVER” BELOW FOR DETAILS REGARDING ARBITRATION.

1.2 It's advisable to also review our [Privacy Policy]. The terms of the Privacy Policy and other supplemental terms, policies or documents that may be posted on the Services from time to time are hereby expressly incorporated herein by reference.
1.3 We may change these Terms on this page of the Website. We may provide you with notice about some critical changes, for example by email or by posting notifications on the Services, but are not obliged to do so in every case. Any other changes will be notified to you only by updating the "Last updated" date of these Terms and you waive any right to receive specific notice of each such change. If you don’t agree to the changes, you should stop using the Services. Use of the Services after any changes to these Terms are made means that you accept such changes.
1.4 IF YOU DO NOT AGREE WITH ANY PART OF THESE TERMS, OR IF YOU ARE NOT ELIGIBLE OR AUTHORIZED TO BE BOUND BY THESE TERMS, THEN DO NOT DOWNLOAD THE APP OR OTHERWISE ACCESS OR USE THE SERVICES.
The App provides summaries based on key insights of non-fiction books, intended solely for educational purposes.
We expressly disclaim any offering or provision of medical advice or any other healthcare services, including, but not limited to, testing, diagnosis, or evaluation pertaining to mental health. Should you encounter any health issues, it's imperative to visit, call, or consult with your physician or other healthcare professionals.
The ideas articulated within each summary reflect the personal views of the respective authors, and not those of LibraLM. We do not guarantee any level of success that may be attained by adhering to the advice and strategies elucidated in a particular book summary. You acknowledge and accept the inherent risk that results may vary for each individual.
No author mentioned within the App endorses or sponsors the App or any of our commercial products, services, or activities. Book Summary does not constitute an endorsement by us of any author mentioned within the App. Nothing within the App should be considered as an indication that any of the mentioned authors authorize, support, endorse, or sponsor any product or service of ours as a result of their mention in the App.
3.1 Utilizing the Services may require the registration of your profile on the App or the Website ("Profile"), wherein certain personal information about yourself as prompted by the registration form would need to be provided.
3.2 Upon registering a Profile, you hereby assert and guarantee to LibraLM that: (i) all required registration details submitted are accurate and truthful; (ii) you will maintain the accuracy of such information; and (iii) your use of the Services does not violate any applicable law or regulation or these Terms. Otherwise, the Services may not operate correctly, and we may not be able to contact you with important notices.
3.3 The Services are not intended for individuals below the age of 16. You affirm and ensure to LibraLM that you fulfill the aforementioned criterion. All minor users within their residing jurisdiction (typically under the age of 18) must secure the permission of, and be directly overseen by, their parent or guardian to utilize the Services. If you are a minor, your parent or guardian must review and agree to these Terms prior to your engagement with the Services.
